Job summary

Emmaus Catholic Church is seeking a dedicated assistant for the Emmaus ECEP program to support a Lead Teacher in delivering a faith‑based early childhood curriculum. Qualifications

Responsibilities

• Support the Lead Teacher in delivering developmentally appropriate activities.
• Model Gospel values and uphold the parish's mission.
• Encourage learning through play and intentional teaching.
• Create a warm, safe, clean, and engaging classroom environment.
• Observe and document behaviors to guide development plans.
• Communicate with parents via board, notes, emails, and conferences.
• Attend staff meetings and maintain classroom property.
• Adhere to ECEP program guidelines and Texas DFPS standards.
• Participate in required training and Ethics & Integrity certificates.
