Job summary

Nnchurch is seeking a dependable childcare assistant to nurture and supervise children in a Christ-centered environment on site in Naples, FL.

You will teach basic Christian curriculum, support diaper changes for babies, manage check-in/out, and communicate with families while following church policies.

Applicants should have a high school diploma or be 18+, with reliability, good communication, and the ability to lift 25 lbs.

Qualifications

• High school diploma and/or 18 years old.
• Prior experience in childcare preferred.
• Possess excellent communication skills.
• Must be able to lift 25 lbs., interact with infants/toddlers.

Responsibilities

• Nurture children in a caring and safe environment.
• Teach basic Christian curriculum to young children.
• Develop positive relationships and communicate with children and parents.
• Supervise all activities ensuring safety at all times.
• Manage check-in and check-out process for children.
• Comfortably assist with diaper changes in baby/toddler rooms.
• Meet children’s needs, including feeding, holding, rocking, and soothing infants.
• Maintain reliability and attendance; follow church policies.
• Provide notice of absence when possible to secure substitutes.
• Communicate needs to supervisor.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
