Job summary

Brainerd Crossroads (The BX) seeks a Personal Trainer who combines fitness expertise with ministry, offering one-on-one training, small group sessions, assessments, and classes in a Christ-centered setting.

As an independent contractor, you will market your services, manage schedules, build a client base, and retain clients through exceptional service while reflecting the mission and values of the BX and Brainerd Baptist Church.

Qualifications

• Nationally accredited Personal Training Certification (NASM, ACE, ACSM, NSCA, or equivalent).
• Current CPR, First Aid, and AED certifications.
• High School Diploma or GED required.
• Ability to develop individualized programs for short- and long-term goals.
• Strong coaching, communication, and relationship-building skills.

Responsibilities

• Look for opportunities to demonstrate and share the love of Christ through daily interactions with members and clients.
• Conduct initial consultations to understand goals, needs, limitations, and motivations; perform assessments.
