Job summary

Prestonwood Pregnancy Center seeks a licensed counselor to provide intake assessments and biblical, Christ-centered counseling. You will develop care plans, track progress, and coordinate with the Director of Client Services to ensure quality care.

Responsibilities include leading groups, teaching classes online and in person, and training staff and volunteers. You will work Monday–Friday with occasional evenings and Saturdays, focusing on compassionate, pro-life support for clients.

Qualifications

• Strong crisis intervention skills.
• Excellent written and oral communication skills.
• Knowledge of perinatal mental health issues.
• Ability to work independently and maintain confidentiality.

Responsibilities

• Administer intake assessments and counsel clients.
• Maintain detailed, confidential client records.
• Develop care plans with clients including goals, referrals, and follow-up.
• Track client progress and follow up on missed appointments.
• Lead groups and teach classes to clients online and in person.
• Provide training to staff and volunteers as needed.
• Build relationships with referral resources for clients.
• Adhere to PPC policies and applicable laws.
