Job summary

LifeWise Academy in Indiana seeks a part-time teacher to share gospel using LifeWise curriculum in public school classrooms. The ideal candidate attends church, communicates well, and builds relationships with students while applying biblical truth with care.

The role includes completing training, maintaining attendance and class records, and collaborating with school staff. This position is non-exempt hourly and requires a minimum two years of teaching experience with children.

Qualifications

• Minimum two years of classroom teaching experience in school or church settings.
• Mature Christian faith aligned with LifeWise Academy Statement of Faith.
• Active participation in and commitment to a local church whose doctrine aligns with What We Believe.

Responsibilities

• Complete Initial and Ongoing Training to prepare for teaching.
• Teach LifeWise Classes using the LifeWise curriculum and map curriculum customization.
• Maintain attendance records and class rosters; provide information to the program director or school officials.
• Maintain a clean, organized classroom and manage materials and supplies.
• Communicate as a LifeWise ambassador, attend events, and keep staff updated.
