Job summary

Lionheart Children's Academy is hiring an Early Childhood Teacher to plan, organize, and implement developmentally appropriate and spiritually enriching programs in a Christ-centered environment. The role ensures compliance with state licensing, NAC standards, CACFP meal procedures, and Lionheart policies while fostering relationships with children, families, and staff.

The candidate will collaborate with team members across ages, assist with housekeeping tasks, and participate in staff meetings

Qualifications

• Must be at least 18 years of age with a high school diploma or GED.
• Previous licensed child care experience is preferred but not required.
• Aligned with Lionheart’s mission and values.
• Positive peer and family relationships; willing to grow and receive coaching.
• Criminal background check required.
• Spiritual alignment: Christ-centered values in daily interactions.

Responsibilities

• Plan and deliver daily activities supporting spiritual, social, emotional, and academic development, integrating Bible stories and Christian values.
• Supervise children by sight and sound at all times per licensing standards and required ratios; perform daily health checks.
• Maintain a safe, clean, age-appropriate learning environment; follow sanitation and Safe Sleep practices.
• Use varied instructional strategies to meet diverse learning needs.
• Track attendance, developmental milestones, and classroom routines.
