Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree from an accredited college or university and relevant work or life experience.
• Passion for Christian Higher Education and a strong work ethic with organizational and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team with initiative.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office, including Word and Excel.
• Reliable transportation and willingness to travel.

Responsibilities

• Serve as enrollment advisor and primary contact for prospective students through admissions, financial aid, and enrollment.
• Recruit and enroll a predetermined number of undergraduates from defined geographic areas.
• Conduct on-site high school visits and represent Union University at career fairs and events; travel may be extensive.
• Provide personal follow-up to prospective students and families via email, letters, and calls.
• Plan regional recruiting receptions for prospective students and parents with Union University staff.
• Access and secure student data related to applications and financial aid per FERPA policy.
• Coordinate follow-up to obtain enrollment forms and complete the admissions process.
• Evaluate admission files for recommendations to the AVP of Undergraduate Admissions.
• Build networks to expand Union's influence in new and existing markets; uphold professional, Christian conduct.
