Job summary

Twin Falls County Fair & Rodeo is seeking a Maintenance Worker to keep the fairgrounds, buildings, and grounds clean, safe, and functional year-round. You will assist with the preparation for the annual fair, rodeos, rentals, and other events, with duties ranging from grounds upkeep to equipment operation.

This role requires physical stamina, ability to work evenings and weekends during events, and the capacity to operate a variety of vehicles and tools under supervision.

Qualifications

  • General knowledge of building and grounds maintenance.
  • Ability to perform basic repairs and minor trades.
  • Valid driver's license and ability to meet insurance requirements.
  • Willingness to operate maintenance equipment and perform manual tasks.

Responsibilities

  • Maintain cleanliness and appearance of facilities and outdoor spaces.
  • Assist with mowing, irrigation, snow removal, and grounds upkeep.
  • Set up and tear down for events and rentals.
  • Perform routine inspections and basic maintenance on equipment.
  • Report safety hazards and equipment issues to supervisor.
  • Support with event setup, teardown, and custodial tasks.
