Job description

Responsibilities

• Plan, implement, and administer operational management of all fairgrounds buildings and grounds under general supervision of The County Commissioners.
• Schedule use of fairgrounds facilities for the general public in accordance with Fair Board policies.
• Perform a wide variety of office, technical, bookkeeping, and customer‑service duties.
• Serve as Secretary to the Fair Board.
• Other duties as assigned.

Qualifications

• High school graduation or equivalent.
• At least three (3) years of event‑coordination experience.
• Computer skills, organizational skills, general bookkeeping experience, and attention to detail.
• One (1) year of management experience is desirable.
• Ability to hear and communicate clearly and accurately, both written and spoken.
• Professional, friendly, tactful, and courteous demeanor at all times.
• Valid Montana Driver License and insurable driver status.
