Job summary

CSAT Solutions LP is seeking a Failure Analysis Technician in Houston to test, troubleshoot, and repair complex system failures. The role involves visual/mechanical inspection of units and components, assembly/disassembly of hardware, and following engineering change orders within a fast-paced team environment.

The candidate should have an associate degree in electronics or related field, 2+ years in failure analysis or electronics QA, and proficiency in schematics, Excel, and English.

Qualifications

• Associates degree in electronics, computer repair or other related field, preferred.
• 2 years or more experience in failure analysis, electronics quality inspection, or computer repair.
• Ability to read and interpret schematics/block diagrams.
• Email and written messaging with basic Excel knowledge.
• Knowledge of advanced computer hardware/components and basic computer software.
• Experience using hand power tools preferred.
• Proficient English abilities required.
• Familiarity with continuous improvement methods preferred.
• Ability to follow documented procedures, standards and policies.
• Must be able to work in a fast-paced team environment with close supervision.

Working Conditions and Essential Abilities & Functions

• Warehouse environment (may not be climate-controlled)
• Use of small hand tools
• Frequent standing, walking and sitting
• Occasional lifting/carrying and pushing/pulling up to 50 lbs.
