Job summary

Ultimate Staffing seeks a Failure Analysis Engineer to join a Fort Worth client on a full-time, on-site basis. You will investigate electronic/semiconductor failures, perform root-cause analyses, and drive corrective actions across design, manufacturing, and quality teams.

You will develop robust failure analysis processes, prepare detailed technical reports, mentor junior staff, and stay current with new FA technologies to improve product reliability and customer satisfaction.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Materials Science, or related field (Master's preferred).
• 3-5 years of experience in failure analysis within electronics or semiconductor industries.
• Proven expertise in root cause analysis and implementing corrective actions.
• Hands-on experience with SEM, EDX, and XRF.

Responsibilities

• Perform in-depth failure analysis on electronic components and systems to identify root causes of defects.
• Use advanced diagnostic tools and techniques to assess failures and prepare detailed reports.
• Partner with design, manufacturing, and quality teams to implement corrective and preventive actions.
• Establish and maintain robust failure analysis processes for consistent, accurate results.
• Present findings and recommendations to stakeholders to support informed decision-making.
• Document all procedures, findings, and corrective actions for future reference and process improvement.
• Stay current with industry trends and emerging failure analysis technologies.
• Participate in cross-functional projects to support product development and reliability initiatives.
• Mentor junior engineers and technicians in failure analysis best practices.

Ultimate Staffing is seeking a Failure Analysis Engineer to join a client in Fort Worth, TX.

This is a full-time, 100% on site, direct hire position.

As a Failure Analysis Engineer, you will play a key role in improving product reliability and performance by investigating and resolving product failures. You'll lead root cause analysis, develop preventive solutions, and collaborate with cross-functional teams to drive continuous improvement and ensure customer satisfaction.

The client is open to candidates of the following experience levels:

Level 1: 0-1 years of experience (new grads): $60K - $65K/year.

Level 2: 1 - 5 years of experience: $65K - $75K/year

Level 3: 5+ years of experience: $75K - $85K/year.

• Ability to manage multiple projects independently and in team settings.
• Detail-oriented with strong organizational skills.
