Job summary

Demgy Pacific, LLC in Tacoma, WA is seeking a detail-oriented FAI Coordinator to support First Article Inspection Reports by organizing documentation, managing Net-Inspect Forms 1-3, and coordinating the FAI schedule. The role is primarily administrative with training provided to develop QA knowledge and potential growth into higher-level QA roles.

Strong attention to detail and ability to coordinate across Quality, Engineering, Operations and Planning is essential.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent is required.
• 1-2 years of administrative, document control, manufacturing, quality, or related experience preferred but not required.
• Experience working with detailed records, technical documentation, or data entry preferred.
• Previous aerospace, manufacturing, quality, inspection, or technical experience preferred but not required.

Responsibilities

• Create and maintain AS9102 Forms 1, 2, and 3 in Net-Inspect using customer-owned engineering and available production records.
• Gather and organize required FAI supporting documentation, including certifications, material records, special process certifications, inspection results, and other objective evidence
• Maintain the FAI schedule and communicate daily priorities to the FAI team based on established plans and customer/production needs
• Follow up on missing documentation, inspection results, approvals, and other open items that may delay FAI completion or product movement
• Monitor FAI status and identify schedule risks or constraints for escalation to Quality leadership
• Coordinate with Quality, Engineering, Operations, Planning, Purchasing, and other departments to obtain information needed to complete FAIR packages
• Ensure FAI records are complete, organized, and entered accurately before routing for technical review or approval
• Maintain visibility of FAI backlog, current priorities, and aging items
• Support submission and record retention of completed FAIRs in customer-required systems as applicable
• Generate routine FAI status and turnaround-time reporting
• Based on demonstrated capability and completed training, support basic dimensional inspection or part measurement activities as assigned
• Develop technical Quality Assurance skills, including engineering drawing interpretation, dimensional inspection, AS9102 requirements, and related quality processes
