Pennsylvania College of Technology in Williamsport, PA, seeks an educational leader to oversee Welding & Fabrication Engineering Technology. The role includes teaching, advising, and curriculum development across welding areas, with emphasis on outcomes assessment and ABET readiness.
The position requires a Bachelor's in Welding Engineering/Technology and 5 years of welding experience; a Master’s or PhD is preferred. Competitive benefits and faculty salary schedule apply.
The faulty will be responsible for educational leadership, student instruction, and student advising in the Welding & Fabrication Engineering Technology department. They will instruct and evaluate student performance in one or more of the following welding areas: weld design, high energy density welding processes, fabrication of alloys, non-destructive testing, welding codes and procedures, and/or foundational welding processes (Shielded Metal Arc Welding, Gas Metal Arc Welding, Gas Tungsten Arc Welding, and Flux Cored Arc Welding).

Commensurate with credentials submitted as applied to the College’s Faculty Salary System. As a point of reference, the salary range for new full-time faculty hired in various disciplines throughout the College for the 2026/27 academic year is $63,747 – $81,694.The wages, hours, and terms and conditions of employment for full-time teaching faculty, counselors and librarians (all regular College funded positions and certain grant/contract funded positions) are determined by the negotiated Agreement between Pennsylvania College of Technology and the Penn College Education Association. If you are currently receiving an annuity from the State or Public School Employees’ Retirement System, employment at Pennsylvania College of Technology may affect your annuity status. If you are currently a member of either the State or Public School Employees’ Retirement System you may be required to contribute into the System.
