Position: Faculty Professor Research Assistant - Full-Time

Department: Med-Ophthalmology - Pennsylvania-Pittsburgh - (25002267)

The University of Pittsburgh's Ophthalmology Department is seeking a Research Assistant Professor in an appointment-stream position. The research involves management and analysis of eye movement data from an ongoing collaboration with the UPMC concussion lab.

1. Responsibilities include evaluating and monitoring the quality of incoming data and providing feedback to the concussion team.
2. Processing of data for eye trace extraction from SLO videos using C Light software and Rossi Lab software (REMMIDE).
3. Analyzing eye movement data with existing analytical approaches and developing new methods for concussion and control fixational eye movement data.

Minimum Qualifications:

• 5+ years of research experience within an Ophthalmology laboratory.
• PhD in Visual Science or a related field.
