Overview / Job Summary:

The Faculty for the HVAC program at WSU Tech is responsible for developing and delivering high‑quality education and training in heating, ventilation, and air conditioning systems. This role includes creating curriculum content, providing hands‑on training, assessing student performance, and promoting an inclusive and engaging learning environment. The ideal candidate will possess a strong background in HVAC technology and a commitment to student success.

Your day-to-day responsibilities will vary, but are not limited to:

• Design and deliver instruction aligned to course competencies and current industry standards

Education:

• Technical education or higher in HVAC or related field, preferred.

Requirements, Knowledge & Skills Needed:

• Minimum of five (5) years of HVAC industry experience, required(any level)
• Prior teaching or training experience, not required.
• Both Residential and Commercial experience, preferred.
• Practical experience in the HVAC industry, including hands‑on troubleshooting and system diagnostics.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to engage students effectively.
• Ability to utilize technology and modern teaching methods to enhance student learning.
• Strong organizational skills and the capability to manage multiple tasks efficiently.
