Job summary

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent required.
• AHIMA CCS certification required.
• At least four years of relevant experience.

Responsibilities

• Performs audits of professional and hospital billing for accuracy.
• Reviews CPT/ICD-10-CM/PCS coding against documentation.
• Assesses compliance with CMS, MACs, RACs and state regulations.
• Provides education to staff on findings and improvements.
• Prepares reports and monitors trends for process improvement.
• Supports QA reviews of other auditors as needed.
