Job summary

Responsibilities

• Operate industrial saws, bandsaws, CNC equipment, and material handling systems.
• Load, measure, cut, and inspect aluminum plate, bar, and rounds to spec.
• Run forklifts and overhead cranes; training provided.
• Follow cut lists and production schedules with precision.
• Receive inbound material and verify against purchase orders.
• Package, label, and stage outbound shipments.
• Record cut data and job completions in software accurately.
• Identify and implement process improvements.
• Keep floor clean, organized, and ready for the next job.
• Work safely each shift and hold teammates to the same standard.
• Complete other tasks as assigned.

Factory Technician | Nox Metals | Ferndale, MI

Nox Metals is a technology company in Metro Detroit supplying metal. We use software and automation to supply metal to American factories faster than the industry thought possible.

Shift hours:

• Weekdays, First Shift: Monday through Thursday, 7:00 AM to 5:30 PM
• Weekdays, Second Shift: Monday through Thursday, 5:30 PM to 4:00 AM
• Weekends, First Shift:Friday through Sunday, 7:00 AM to 7:00 PM
• Weekends, Second Shift: Friday through Sunday, 7:00 PM to 7:00 AM

You will:

• Operate industrial saws, bandsaws, CNC equipment, and material handling systems

• Follow cut lists and production schedules with precision
• Receive inbound material and verify against purchase orders
• Package, label, and stage outbound shipments
• Record cut data and job completions in our software systems, accurately, every time
• Look at every process and figure out how to make it better
• Keep the floor clean, organized, and ready for the next job
• Work safely every shift and hold your teammates to the same standard
• Complete other tasks as assigned

Nice to have:

This role is full time, in person in Ferndale.
