LHP Engineering Solutions is seeking an Industrial Engineer to lead factory relocation, plant consolidation, and major equipment moves. The role focuses on minimizing downtime, optimizing layouts, and ensuring safe, compliant asset movements across North America.

The engineer collaborates with Manufacturing, Facilities, Supply Chain, Quality, and Maintenance to relocate production assets while improving productivity, material flow, and overall plant efficiency.

Qualifications

• Minimum 5+ years in Industrial/Manufacturing Engineering.
• 3+ years leading factory relocation or major equipment moves.
• Experience starting up and commissioning manufacturing lines.
• Proficient in facility layout, process optimization, and contractor management.

Responsibilities

• Develop relocation plans, schedules, and execution strategies.
• Coordinate decommissioning, transport, installation, and commissioning.
• Perform move feasibility studies and risk assessments.
• Create move sequencing to minimize downtime.
• Monitor milestones, budgets, and resources.
• Lead Lean and Six Sigma improvements during transitions.
