Job summary

Raytheon in Goleta, CA is seeking an experienced Operations Planner to own the monthly 30/60/90-day factory planning process, coordinate inputs, lead reviews, and guide long-term schedule accuracy. You will communicate decisions to program leadership, optimize capacity, develop weekly production plans, and resolve WIP issues to meet delivery commitments in a fast-paced aerospace environment.

Qualifications

• University degree or equivalent or higher with related experience.
• Advanced degree in a related field is advantageous and supports progression.

Responsibilities

• Own the monthly 30/60/90-day factory planning process, coordinating inputs and leading reviews.
• Provide guidance on long-term Master Production Schedule (MPS) submissions.
• Communicate schedule decisions, risks, and required actions to program leadership and production control teams.
• Provide SME on factory capacity, production schedules, and delivery commitments.
• Respond to ad-hoc planning questions from program and factory leadership.
• Prioritize factory work to meet customer and contractual delivery commitments.
• Develop weekly production plans and adapt priorities as conditions change.
• Review WIP to identify schedule issues and drive resolutions.
• Develop and execute expedited plans as needed, reviewing build resources and staffing.
• Identify capacity constraints and recommend throughput improvements.
