Job summary

Boon Edam Inc. is seeking an Accounting Specialist- Factory to support plant financial operations, inventory accounting, and cost analysis in Lillington, NC. The role focuses on inventory accuracy, AP processing, and month-end close activities within GAAP guidelines.

The ideal candidate has a Bachelor’s in Accounting with 1–2 years in accounting, strong Excel and ERP experience (SAP preferred). This full-time role offers competitive compensation, excellent benefits, and growth opportunities.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in accounting or related field required.
• 1–2 years in accounting; AP or cost accounting experience preferred.
• Proficiency with MS Office; advanced Excel skills required; SAP experience a plus.

Responsibilities

• Monitor and manage inventory balances and movement.
• Review receiving, production, scrap and shipment transactions for accuracy.
• Investigate discrepancies and errors; support cycle count and physical inventories.
• Prepare inventory reconciliations and analyze inventory valuations.
• Reconcile AP and GR/IR accounts; ensure proper cost center coding.
