Job summary

Boon Edam Inc. is seeking a Senior Staff Accountant in Raleigh, NC to manage general ledger activities, month-end close, and financial reporting with a focus on accuracy and internal controls.

The role requires a Bachelor's degree in Accounting, 5 years of accounting experience, and strong Excel/SAP skills. You will collaborate with cross-functional teams and support audits, ensuring compliance with GAAP.

Responsibilities

• Maintain general ledger and support month-end close accuracy.
• Prepare and reconcile schedules for month-end reporting; analyze revenues/costs.
• Research and resolve accounting discrepancies and perform GL reconciliations.
• Administer tax payments and ensure timely Avalara transactions processing.
• Manage travel and expense reporting and cash reconciliations.
• Assist with year-end audit information and internal controls.
