Job summary

VVater in Austin, TX is seeking a Production Manager to lead the factory floor of its water and wastewater treatment equipment. You will oversee fabrication, electrical, controls, and assembly, ensuring builds meet spec and ship on time.

This hands-on role requires 7+ years of manufacturing leadership, strong ERP/MRP knowledge, and a Lean/Six Sigma mindset. You will drive safety, quality, and continuous improvement with a team of skilled technicians.

Qualifications

• 7+ years of progressive manufacturing or production leadership experience.
• Hands-on familiarity with fabrication, welding, machining, electrical assembly, and mechanical assembly.
• Strong command of ERP/MRP and data-driven KPI management.

Responsibilities

• Own daily production on the factory floor across fabrication, welding, electrical, controls and automation integration, mechanical assembly, and final test.
• Run the daily production drumbeat: shift planning, work assignments, tier meetings, and floor coordination.
• Drive on-time build completion and shipment against the master production schedule.
• Remove roadblocks in real time to keep the floor moving and hold the line on quality and safety.
