Job summary

AutoNation is seeking a skilled technician to perform vehicle repair and maintenance in line with dealer and factory standards, building trust and loyalty with customers. This role offers factory training, access to cutting-edge tools, and clear advancement paths across service and management tracks.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or equivalent required.
• 3+ years experience as automotive technician preferred.
• Automotive technical training as needed by store.

Responsibilities

• Perform vehicle repair and/or maintenance per repair order to standards.
• Diagnose malfunctions and perform repairs with customer consent.
• Conduct multi-point inspections to ensure safety and reliability.
• Document work performed on each vehicle.
• Communicate with Parts Dept and Service Advisors to manage production.
• Maintain inventory of special tools and stay current with factory bulletins.
