Job summary

FXI is seeking a focused general laborer in the Chattanooga, TN area to assemble, package, and load fabricated parts per customer specifications. You will read work orders, apply adhesives, and operate related equipment while maintaining cleanliness and safety on the production floor.

The role requires the ability to lift up to 50 lbs, stand for extended periods, and read measuring devices, with attention to 5S and quality standards. High school diploma preferred; English proficiency essential.

Qualifications

• Able to read, write and speak English.
• Able to lift and carry 50lbs.
• Able to stand and walk for 8 hours.
• Able to read measuring devices.

Responsibilities

• Wrapping, baling, packaging, press operation, sewing, and housekeeping.
• Reads and understands work orders to accurately apply adhesive, assemble and pack parts according to customer specifications.
• Understands and follows written and/or verbal instructions regarding customer specifications.
• Verifies conformance to specifications using a tape measure.
• Understands and follows written and/or verbal direction from Group Leads.
• Maintains daily 5s in general area of responsibility.
• Follow 5s and safety policies and procedures.
• Other duties, as assigned
