Job summary

FXI in Baldwyn, MS is seeking a dedicated General Labor team member to support fabrication and assembly operations. You will read work orders, stage product, and verify conformance to specs using tape measures while following 5S and safety policies.

The role requires at least one year in a factory setting, ability to lift 50 lbs, stand for 8 hours, and read measuring devices. High school diploma or equivalent is required.

Qualifications

• Minimum 1 year factory-related experience.
• Able to read, write and speak English.
• Able to lift and carry 50 lbs.
• Able to stand and walk for 8 hours.
• Able to read measuring devices.
• High school diploma or equivalent required.

Responsibilities

• Conducts set-up and operates a variety of fabricating devices (including but not limited to Roll Packs, Dolphin, etc.).
• Able to perform functions of General Labor 1 & 2.
• Performs machine operations to support the assembly floor.
• Verifies conformance to specifications using a tape measure.
• Reads work orders to specifications.
• Stages product in designated areas.
• Identifies and/or records any problems related to the product, process, and the quality system.
• Maintains the work area and equipment in a clean orderly condition.
• Follow 5s and Safety policies and procedures.
• Other duties, as assigned.
