Job summary

Insight Global in Irvine, CA is seeking a highly technical Field Applications Manager to lead and grow a team of eight Semiconductor Test Applications Engineers, driving customer success and supporting strategic accounts.

The ideal candidate brings extensive ATE experience, strong people leadership, and the ability to guide customer discussions with technical decision makers. Willingness to travel ~25% and onsite work 4+ days per week is expected.

Qualifications

• 10+ years of semiconductor ATE experience.
• Hands-on experience developing or supporting semiconductor test programs on ATE.
• 2+ years of leadership/people management experience.
• Experience conducting performance reviews, talent development, hiring, and team leadership.
• Strong customer-facing experience working directly with technical decision makers.
• Ability to travel approximately 25% domestically and internationally.
• Must be able to work onsite in Irvine 4+ days per week.

A client of Insight Global is seeking a highly technical, customer-facing Field Applications Manager to lead and grow a team of Semiconductor Test Applications Engineers in Irvine, CA. This leader will be responsible for managing a team of 8 engineers, driving customer success, supporting strategic accounts, and providing technical oversight on semiconductor test program development. The ideal candidate combines strong ATE test expertise with proven people leadership, customer management, and business development experience.

Skills and Requirements

• 10+ years of semiconductor ATE experience
• Hands-on experience developing or supporting semiconductor test programs on ATE
• 2+ years of leadership/people management experience
• Experience conducting performance reviews, talent development, hiring, and team leadership
• Strong customer-facing experience working directly with technical decision makers
• Ability to provide technical guidance and step into customer/test program discussions when needed
• Ability to travel approximately 25% domestically and internationally
• Must be able to work onsite in Irvine 4+ days per weekExperience supporting digital or RF semiconductor testing
