Job summary

Teradyne in San Jose, CA is seeking a Factory Applications Engineer to support TestInsight software solutions for customers in the San Jose region. You will bridge design and ATE environments, lead adoption of multi-platform test programs, and collaborate with EDA and test engineers on site.

You will partner with Teradyne SW developers to implement enhancements that meet customer requirements, build close relationships with test and design teams, and ensure best usage of the ATE platform.

Qualifications

• B.S. in Electrical Engineering.
• Experience in semiconductor test and/or DFT.
• Strong understanding of DFT processes and methodologies.
• Excellent communication skills with customers.

Responsibilities

• Support customers in the San Jose, CA region on TestInsight software solutions.
• Lead adoption of multi-platform test program development with semiconductor design and test companies.
• Collaborate with EDA and test engineers on customer sites and with TestInsight SW developers to meet requirements.
• Build close working relationships with customer test and design teams and ensure best usage of the ATE platform.

The candidate will lead the effort helping adoption of multi-platform test programdevelopmentby leading semiconductor design and test companies.

The candidate will need to collaborate with EDA and test engineers at the customer site and work closely withTestinsightSW developers toachievebest support for customers specific requirements.

The candidate will need to buildcloseworking relationship with both the customer test and designteams.

The candidate will supportthecustomerspecific testdevelopmentprocessassuring bestusage of thespecificeitherATEplatform.

• B.S. in Electrical Engineering with at least a couple of years of experience in semiconductor test and/or DFT
• Deep understanding of semiconductor test methodologies
• Good understanding of DFT processes and methodologies
• Strong communication skills with the ability to work effectively with customers
• Innovation in aligning customer requirements with software capabilities
• Friendly and collaborative approach, with the ability to build relationships while spending significant time at customer sites
• Must be able to carry auto liability or minimum insurance due to automotive responsibilities

This position is not eligible for visa sponsorship.

Compensation: The base salary range for this role is$170,500 to 272,800.This range is a good faith estimate, and the amount of base salary will correspond with experience and skill set. This range can also fluctuate depending on demand and location.

Incentive Plan: This job is eligible for discretionary bonus(es) based on financial performance.
