Equiliem is seeking a Factory 3D Layout Designer to translate 2D factory layouts into precise 3D models and digital twins. The role emphasizes AutoCAD expertise and experience with factory design software such as Siemens Tecnomatix, Autodesk Factory Design, or DELMIA Virtual Factory.

Qualifications

Minimum 5 years of relevant CAD, factory layout, 3D modeling, or manufacturing facility design experience.
Strong AutoCAD experience, including 3D factory models from 2D drawings.
Experience with BIW assembly line layouts or similar manufacturing layouts.
Experience mapping buildings and spaces in 3D using factory modeling tools.

Responsibilities

Develop accurate 3D factory models from existing 2D drawings and layouts.
Convert 2D layouts into detailed 3D models.
Map existing buildings and manufacturing spaces in 3D.
Create digital twins of factory environments using appropriate software.
Model BIW assembly lines and related manufacturing systems in 3D.
Interpret drawings with AutoCAD or equivalent software.
Utilize Tecnomatix, Factory Design, DELMIA Virtual Factory, or similar platforms.
Review drawings for accuracy and collaborate with the team to meet requirements.
Deliver 3D factory modeling projects within established timelines.
