This posting may be used to fill multiple positions for day (5a.m.-1:30p.m)., (7a.m. – 3: 30p.m)., evening (3p.m. – 11: 30p.m)., or night (10p.m. – 6:30a.m.) shifts.

South Dakota State University Facilities & Services is in search of motivated and dependable individuals to join our cleaning team as Facility Workers. No prior professional cleaning experience is needed. You bring your willingness to learn, and we will equip you with all the training and tools to complete the job.

Job Responsibilities: Provide cleaning services to SDSU Academic and Athletic Buildings and to promote a clean and safe environment for students, staff, and the public. The work duties will include hard and soft surface floor maintenance, restroom care, classroom, and office detailing, building security, trash handling, as well as some exterior and miscellaneous maintenance tasks.

Required License: Valid driver’s license required for all shifts except 10pm-6:30am.
