Job summary

Triumvirate Environmental seeks a Facility Technician for the Davie, FL area to manage waste processes, compliance, and onsite operations. You will gain experience with permits, DOT/RCRA compliance, and emergency response readiness while supporting the Operations Manager.

The role emphasizes hands-on facility management, safety, and potential progression to leading waste-handling activities within a growing team.

Qualifications

• Ability to work as a team member or individually.
• Customer service orientation.
• Comfortable using computers.
• Valid driver’s license in good standing.
• Pre-employment physical and drug screening clearance.
• Must lift 50-75 pounds.
• Eligibility to work in the United States without sponsorship.
• Reliable transportation.
• Consent to MVR checks, background checks, and drug testing including THC.
• Random drug screening during employment for safety.
• Ability to lift 60 pounds regularly.
• Overtime availability.
• Willingness to work flexible hours (Mon–Fri).
• Be able to report to office within 1 hour for ER shifts.
• Role involves handling hazardous chemicals and PPE; safety-sensitive.

Responsibilities

• Develop knowledge to manage a permitted facility.
• Understand facility permits and local agency expectations for waste management.
• Assist with facility compliance including checks, training, SOP reviews, and process reviews.
• Assist with facility operations, potentially acting as manager when needed.
• Consolidate waste per permits, disposal facility requirements, and customer preferences.
• Assist with waste determinations/profile management.
• Coordinate outbound loads; set up deliveries, schedule transporters.
• Learn OSHA regulations, Health and Safety practices, and EPA regulations.
• Demonstrate supervisory leadership with coworkers.
• Familiarize with technical, customer service, and business aspects of environmental services.
• Work with computerized waste tracking systems.
• Upon ER training completion, be part of in-house ER team.
• Drive a forklift.
• Rotating on-call duties as part of Emergency Response (optional).
