Triumvirate Environmental, Inc. seeks a 10 Day Facility Coordinator / Facility Technician for our Davie, FL team. You will handle facility waste management, DOT and RCRA compliance, and support operations under the supervision of the Operations Manager.

The role offers exposure to hazardous waste handling, OSHA/EPA standards, forklift operation, and potential growth into facility management. On-site in Davie with flexibility for rotating shifts.

Qualifications

• Must be able to work as part of a team and individually.
• Comfortable using computers and basic software.
• Physical requirements include lifting 50–75 lbs and occasional 60+ lb lifting.
• Willingness to pass drug screen, background check, and random screenings.

Responsibilities

• Develop knowledge to manage a permitted facility and comply with waste regulations.
• Assist with facility operations and act as supervisor when needed.
• Coordinate waste consolidations, determinations, and outbound loads.
• Learn OSHA, EPA regulations and Triumvirate Health & Safety practices.
• Support emergency response team and cross-train in environmental services.

10 Day Facility Coordinator / Facility Technician

Triumvirate Environmental, one of the largest environmental services firms in North America, is seeking a Facility Technician for our Davie team.

As a Facility Technician, you will be involved with multiple aspects of facility waste management. This is a unique role that will give you exposure to RCRA and DOT compliance, technical services, transportation, solid disposal coordination, ten-day transfer of hazardous waste and universal waste management. This position reports to our Operations Manager. This role is onsite and is based in Davie, FL.

Responsibilities

• Develop the knowledge and experience to manage a permitted facility.
• Understand facility permit and local governing agency expectations for waste management.
• Assist with general facility compliance including performing daily/weekly/monthly compliance checks, training, SOP implementation/review, and process review.
• Assist with general facility operations including serving as management if the facility manager is not available.
• Consolidate waste according to permits, disposal facility requirements, and customer preferences.
• Assist with waste determinations/profile management.
• Coordinate outbound loads- setting up deliveries, scheduling transporters, etc.
• Develop an understanding of OSHA regulations, Triumvirate’s Health and Safety Practices, and EPA regulations.
• Demonstrate your supervisory leadership abilities through interaction with coworkers.
• Work towards becoming familiar with technical, customer service, and business components of environmental services.
• Work with computerized waste tracking systems.
• Upon completion of emergency response (ER) training, you will be part of an in-house ER team.
• Drive a forklift.
• Rotating on‑call responsibilities as part of our Emergency Response team (optional)

Basic Requirements

• Ability to work as a member of a team as well as individually.
• Comfortable using computers.
• Successful completion of a physical examination and drug screening is required prior to employment.
• Must be able to lift 50-75 pounds.
• Must be eligible to work in the United States without future sponsorship
• Must have a reliable form of transportation
• Must be willing to consent to Motor Vehicle Record screening, criminal background check, pre-employment physical, and drug screen (inclusive of THC)
• Upon employment, you will be required to participate in a random drug screening program (inclusive of THC) as part of our company’s commitment to maintaining a safe and healthy work environment
• Must be able to lift 60 pounds on a regular basis
• Ability to work overtime on a regular basis
• Must be willing to work flexible hours within the work week (Monday through Friday)
• Must be able to report to designated office within 1 hour during Emergency Response rotating shifts
• The p osition frequently handles hazardous chemicals and biological waste and is responsible for putting on and taking off personal protective equipment. This role is considered safety‑sensitive.

Preferred Requirements

• Prior knowledge, experience, and compliance with DOT, RCRA, and other applicable regulations.
• Commercial Driver’s License (CDL).
• Prior relevant industry experience
• Active HAZWOPER 24 or 40 hour certification
• Willingness to obtain Commercial Driver’s License (CDL)
