Job summary

Worldwide Flight Services (WFS) in Kenner, LA is seeking a Training Specialist to deliver new-hire and ongoing employee training across our operations. You will lead classroom and on-the-job sessions, design milestones, and ensure training aligns with regulatory and safety standards.

You will conduct needs assessments, coordinate trainings and re-certifications, maintain rosters, and monitor program effectiveness while supporting a safe, secure, and compliant work environment.

Qualifications

  • HS Diploma, GED or Equivalent.
  • Minimum 6 months related operational experience preferred.
  • WFS or Carrier Instructor Certification.
  • Current qualification and experience on training subject or learning plan.
  • Proven ability to investigate problems and understand overall context.

Job Summary

Responsible for providing training for new hires and tenured employees through various learning methods.

Minimum Requirements
  • HS Diploma, GED or Equivalent.
  • Minimum 6 months related operational experience preferred.
  • WFS or Carrier Instructor Certification.
  • Current qualification and experience on training subject or learning plan.

Physical Requirements/Working Conditions
  • Remain in a stationary position 50% of the time.
  • Occasionally move about inside the office to access file cabinets, office machinery, etc.
  • Constantly operates a computer and other office productivity machinery such as a calculator, copy machine and computer printer.
  • Walk short distances.
  • Reach above and/or below shoulder.
  • Handle/grasp documents or office equipment.
  • Sit and/or stand for short or extended periods of time.
  • Lift/carry/move objects, files and documents up to 10 pounds.
  • Work in an office environment using standard office equipment.
  • Talk, listen, and speak clearly on telephone.
  • Maintain regular and punctual attendance consistent with the ADA, FMLA, and other federal, state, and local standards.
