Job summary

Burkert USA Corp, a world leading manufacturer of process measuring and control technology, seeks a maintenance technician for on-site duties in North Carolina. You will manage preventive maintenance, care for indoor/outdoor installations, and coordinate external services when needed.

Qualifications

• Candidates must be able to lift up to 150 lbs and perform physical tasks daily.
• Proficient in reading, writing and speaking English.
• Experience with basic hand and power tools is required.
• Able to read a tape measure and use a computer for basic tasks.
• Willingness to work on-site in the United States.

Responsibilities

• Plan and conduct preventive maintenance to avoid downtime and extend equipment life.
• Care for indoor and outdoor installations and coordinate winter service if needed.
• Maintain equipment fleet and motorized assistive devices as applicable.
• Autonomously acquire consumables within laws and standards.
• Perform minor repairs on sanitary and building equipment.
• Assess efficiency and decide between in-house or third-party service.
• Monitor technical equipment and provide on-call coverage as agreed.
