Job summary

Sysco is seeking an experienced Facility Tech I/II to oversee maintenance and safe operation of the facility, ASRS, and dock equipment. The role includes electrical, plumbing, carpentry, and general repair tasks, plus daily CMMS logging and on-call duties.

The position requires six years of industrial facility maintenance experience, RETA CARO/CIRO preferred, and a valid driver’s license. Training and mentoring responsibilities are included.

Qualifications

• Ability to read, analyze and interpret technical procedures, or governmental regulations.
• Ability to perform basic arithmetic and unit conversions.

Responsibilities

• Oversee safe operation, daily monitoring, and maintenance for facility systems.
• Maintain ASRS, dock equipment, and general facility systems.
• Perform electrical, plumbing, carpentry, and general repair tasks as needed.
• Log time and materials in CMMS with work orders and PMs.
• Assist with refrigeration operator duties and ePSM inspections.
• Train and mentor junior facility techs.
• Respond to emergencies and uphold safety policies.
