Job summary

Tosoh SMD, Inc. is seeking a Technician II to support preventive maintenance and troubleshoot/repair equipment and facilities at the Grove City, Ohio campus.

This non-exempt, full-time role reports to the Area Department Supervisor and participates in continuous improvement activities. The technician will perform preventive maintenance on mechanical, electrical, pneumatic, HVAC, plumbing, and vacuum systems, and will contribute to safety, 5S, and procedural updates while maintaining reliable

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required; related technical training preferred.
• Strong written and verbal communication.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Word, Excel, and Outlook.
• Ability to work with diverse personnel throughout the workday.
• Comfortable in an ISO environment and with preventive maintenance.
• Ability to document and clearly communicate the work performed.
• Advanced Beginner at understanding of tools and test equipment.
• Problem-solving, troubleshooting, and critical thinking skills.
• Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail.

Responsibilities

• Assists on-boarding activities for new Technicians.
• Works under general supervision.
• Performs preventive maintenance on assigned equipment and facilities.
• Contributes to updating preventive maintenance procedures.
• Demonstrates flexibility of schedule to pursue training opportunities.
• Maintains safety and 5S standards; communicates risks and resolutions.
• Maintains regular and reliable attendance; communicates professionally with team.
