Job summary

Sysco Albany, LLC is seeking an Operations technician to oversee the safe operation, daily monitoring, and maintenance of the facility, ASRS, dock equipment, and related systems. The role includes basic repairs to electrical, plumbing, and building components.

The ideal candidate has four years of industrial maintenance experience and possesses a valid driver's license; a facility maintenance background and specific Sysco certifications are a plus. Overtime may be required.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or GED; facility maintenance tech school (preferred).
• Four years of industrial facility/ASRS maintenance experience or equivalent.
• Valid state driver's license and ability to obtain Sysco certifications.

Responsibilities

• Demonstrate an understanding and adherence to all work safety policies and procedures.
• Perform maintenance and repairs on electrical, plumbing, and building systems.
• Monitor ASRS and general facility equipment for safe operation and reliability.
• Log time and materials in CMMS and complete preventive maintenance tasks daily.
• Respond to emergencies and participate in on-call and safety programs.
