Job summary

Clean Harbors is seeking a Facility Technician I for the Chicago, IL area to perform warehouse duties, including bulk liquid transfers, inventory reconciliation, and waste storage compliance. The role requires safety focus, the ability to lift 50+ pounds, and basic computer use. Shift: 1st 8am-4pm with potential OT.

Pay: $23/hr. Eligible applicants will have a High School diploma or equivalent, 1+ year of related experience, and Forklift experience is preferred but not required.

• 1+ years of related experience.
• Forklift experience preferred (Not Required).
• Ability to use computer.
• Ability to lift 50 or more pounds.

Responsibilities

• Ensuring that Health and Safety is the number one priority by complying with all safe work practices, policies, and processes and acting in a safe manner at all times
• Load and unload route trucks
• Prepare waste loads for shipment to Recycle Center/Distribution Center
• Manage inventory order and receiving process
• General housekeeping and keeping a clean work area
• Ensure waste is stored in safe and proper manner

Job description

Facility Technician I for Chicago, IL will be responsible for completing all assigned warehouse duties in a safe and responsible manner. This includes bulk liquid transfers of incoming and outbound trucks and railcars of waste shipments, reconciling inventory, general housekeeping, and compliance with waste storage.

Shift: 1st 8am-4pm w/potential OT

Pay: $23
