Job summary

Clean Harbors is seeking a Facility Technician I for Smithfield, KY to perform warehouse duties safely, load/unload trucks, and prepare waste shipments in compliance with storage protocols. The role requires a high school diploma, 18+ years, and at least 1 year of related experience; forklift experience is a plus.

You will use a computer and lift 50+ pounds as part of daily tasks, with second shift 3pm-11pm.

Qualifications

  • High School diploma or equivalent is required.
  • Must be 18 years or older.
  • 1+ years of related experience.
  • Forklift experience preferred (Not Required).
  • Ability to use computer.
  • Ability to lift 50+ pounds.

Responsibilities

  • Ensuring that Health and Safety is the number one priority by complying with all safe work practices, policies, and processes and acting in a safe manner at all times
  • Load and unload route trucks
  • Prepare waste loads for shipment to Recycle Center/Distribution Center
  • Manage inventory order and receiving process
  • General housekeeping and keeping a clean work area
  • Ensure waste is stored in safe and proper manner

Job description

Facility Technician I for Smithfield, KY

Will be responsible for completing all assigned warehouse duties in a safe and responsible manner. This includes loading / unloading trucks, preparing waste shipments, reconciling inventory, general housekeeping, and compliance with waste storage.

Up to $28 per hour, based on experience and qualifications.

Shift: 2nd 3pm-11pm
