Job summary

Clean Harbors is seeking a Facility Technician I for Chicago, IL to perform warehouse duties safely, including bulk liquid transfers, inventory reconciliation, and proper waste storage compliance.

Shift is 1st 8am-4pm with potential overtime; pay starts at $23/hour. Responsibilities include loading/unloading trucks, preparing waste loads, and maintaining a clean, organized work area.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or equivalent required.
• Must be 18 years or older.
• 1+ years of related experience.
• Ability to lift 50+ pounds and operate basic computer systems.
• Forklift experience preferred but not required.

Responsibilities

• Load and unload route trucks.
• Prepare waste loads for shipment to Recycling Center/Distribution Center.
• Manage inventory order and receiving process.
• General housekeeping and keeping a clean work area.
• Ensure waste is stored in a safe and proper manner.

Job description

The Facility Technician I for Chicago, IL will be responsible for completing all assigned warehouse duties in a safe and responsible manner. This includes bulk liquid transfers of incoming and outbound trucks and railcars of waste shipments, reconciling inventory, general housekeeping, and compliance with waste storage.

Shift: 1st 8am-4pm w/potential OT. Pay: $23

RESPONSIBILITIES

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Ensuring that Health and Safety is the number one priority by complying with all safe work practices, policies, and processes and acting in a safe manner at all times

QUALIFICATIONS
