Entegris is offering a Spring 2027 Facility Technician Co-Op at our Colorado Springs site. This full-time 6-month program begins in January, designed for enrolled students to gain hands-on experience alongside skilled technicians.

You will troubleshoot HVAC, boiler, and compressor systems, participate in building infrastructure projects, and learn the Building Management System while developing practical, in-field skills for a future in facilities engineering.

Responsibilities

• Troubleshoot building equipment including HVAC, boiler, and compressor systems.
• Assist with building systems projects and fabricate simple one-off components for applications.
• Learn and work with the Building Management System (BMS) to monitor and adjust operations.
• Assist with repairs or construction tasks such as installing walls, painting, ceiling systems, and related infrastructure.
• Perform minor maintenance on equipment (forklifts, doors, lights, grounds, plumbing, flooring, and electronics).

Role

Our site in Colorado Springs, CO - Rockrimmon is seeking a Facility technician to join our team for the Spring 2027 season. This assignment is intended to be full-time, 6 months in duration beginning in January. In this role, you will be working alongside very skilled facility technicians, mentoring you as you gain the knowledge that you need to become a confident building facility technician.

What You’ll Do

• Troubleshoot building equipment such as HVAC, boiler, and compressor systems.
• Work on a variety of building systemsFabricate special “one offs” for certain applications
• Work with and understand our Building Management System (BMS)
• Repair or build new building infrastructure such as installing walls, painting, ceiling systems, etc.
• Minor repairs on equipment such as forklifts, garage doors, lights, grounds work, plumbing, flooring, and electronic systems.

What We Seek

• Someone who is motivated and willing to learn from others.
• A desirable candidate would need to be willing to work in any safe work environment, including outdoors.
• Boiler license or HVAC certificate is a plus

Eligibility

• Must be a currently enrolled student
• Available to work 40 hours a week, M-F (8a-5p) beginning in January through June
• Must be familiar with the university’s requirements to participate in a co-op program
• Entegris is not currently hiring candidates for co-ops/internships who will need, now or at any time in the future, Entegris sponsorship through the H1-B lottery.

PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS

Must be able to use ladders, lift over 50lbs, and work in all weather conditions in necessary.
