Entegris, Inc. is seeking a Facility Technician Co-Op for the Spring 2027 season at our Colorado Springs, CO site. The 6-month assignment runs January through June and is a full-time role designed to mentor you as you gain hands-on experience in building systems.

You will work with skilled technicians to learn troubleshooting of HVAC, boiler, and other building systems, and contribute to repairs and installations around the facility. A boiler license or HVAC certificate is a plus.

Qualificações

• Must be currently enrolled in a program (trade school or college).
• Available to work 40 hours per week, M-F (8a-5p) from January through June.
• Familiarity with co-op program requirements; sponsorship not provided by Entegris.

Responsabilidades

• Troubleshoot building equipment such as HVAC, boiler, and compressor systems.
• Assist with building system tasks and fabricate small parts as needed.
• Work with Building Management System (BMS) and assist in repairs or upgrades to building infrastructure.
• Assist with minor repairs to equipment and general site maintenance.

Job Title: Facility Technician Co-Op

The Role

Our site in Colorado Springs, CO - Rockrimmon is seeking a Facility technician to join our team for the Spring 2027 season. This assignment is intended to be full-time, 6 months in duration beginning in January.

In this role, you will be working alongside very skilled facility technicians, mentoring you as you gain the knowledge that you need to become a confident building facility technician.

What You’ll Do

• Troubleshoot building equipment such as HVAC, boiler, and compressor systems.
• Work on a variety of building systemsFabricate special “one offs” for certain applications
• Work with and understand our Building Management System (BMS) Repair or build new building infrastructure such as installing walls, painting, ceiling systems, etc.
• Minor repairs on equipment such as forklifts, garage doors, lights, grounds work, plumbing, flooring, and electronic systems.

What We Seek

Someone who is motivated and willing to learn from others. A desirable candidate would need to be willing to work in any safe work environment, including outdoors. A boiler license or HVAC certificate is a plus

Desired Major(s) & Graduation Year

Currently enrolled in a trade school seeking a future as an electrician, plumber, carpenter, HVAC, etc. or pursuing a college degree as a mechanical engineer or related field.

Eligibility

• Must be a currently enrolled student
• Available to work 40 hours a week, M-F (8a-5p) beginning in January through June
• Must be familiar with the university’s requirements to participate in a co-op program
• Entegris is not currently hiring candidates for co-ops/internships who will need, now or at any time in the future, Entegris sponsorship through the H1-B lottery.

PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS

Must be able to use ladders, lift over 50lbs, and work in all weather conditions in necessary.

Compensation: $20-$30/hour range with actual pay dependent on candidate overall skills for the role.
