Job summary

Entegris, Inc. in Colorado Springs, CO seeks a Manufacturing Engineer Co-Op for the Spring 2027 season. This full-time six-month assignment offers hands-on experience across planning, tooling, injection molding, assembly, and other production areas.

You will partner with manufacturing teams to standardize startup/shutdown procedures, enhance safety and quality, and develop training materials for automated equipment. Must be enrolled and eligible for a university co‑op.

Qualifications

• Must be currently enrolled as a student.
• Available to work 40 hours per week Mon-Fri Jan through June.
• Must be familiar with university co-op requirements.
• No sponsorship through the H1-B lottery is available.

The Role:

Our site in Colorado Springs, CO - Rockrimmon is seeking a Manufacturing Engineer Co-Op to join our team for the Spring 2027 season. This assignment is intended to be fulltime, 6 months in duration.

What You'll Do:

• Gain hands‑on experience evaluating and improving manufacturing processes across multiple production areas, including planning, tooling, injection molding, secondary operations, and assembly.

• Partner with manufacturing and production teams to develop and standardize injection molding startup and shutdown procedures that support safety, quality, and operational excellence.

• Create clear, user‑friendly work instructions and visual documentation for automated equipment and machine interfaces to support operator training and process reliability.

What We Seek:

• Strong communicator, effective communicating amongst others

• Basic understanding of mechanical engineering principles (coursework included)

• Proficiency in Microsoft Office

Desired Major(s) & Graduation Year:

Mechanical, industrial, and manufacturing engineering, graduation date in 2027 or Spring 2028

Eligibility:

• Must be a currently enrolled student

• Available to work 40 hours a week, M-F (8a-5p) beginning in January through June

• Must be familiar with the university’s requirements to participate in a co‑op program

• Entegris is not currently hiring candidates for co‑ops/internships who will need, now or at any time in the future, Entegris sponsorship through the H1-B lottery.

Compensation: $20-$30/hour range with actual pay dependent on candidate overall skills for the role
