Job summary

Goodwill North Central Texas is seeking a full-time janitorial associate at our Fort Worth location to perform cleaning, sanitation, and supplies duties across facilities. The role includes floor care, trash removal, restroom maintenance, and basic safety compliance, with a standard 40-hour week and occasional weekends.

The ideal candidate can follow written or oral instructions and prefers routine, repetitive tasks.

• Dust furniture, walls, machines, and equipment; strip, seal, finish, and polish floors.

Locations:Goodwill North Central Texas --- 4005 Campus Drive, Fort Worth, Texas

Salary: $14.82 per hour

Work Hours:FT (40 Hrs. per Week) Typical start time of 7:30 a.m., Monday through Friday with occasional weekends.

General Job Duties:Service, clean, or supply restrooms; clean building floors by sweeping, mopping, scrubbing, or vacuuming; gather and empty trash; follow procedures for the use of chemical cleaners and power equipment to prevent damage to floors and fixtures; mix water and detergents or acids in containers to prepare cleaning solutions, according to specifications; clean windows, glass partitions, or mirrors, using soapy water or other cleaners, sponges, or squeegees; notify managers concerning the need for major repairs or additions to building operating systems; requisition supplies or equipment needed for cleaning and maintenance duties; dust furniture, walls, machines, or equipment; strip, seal, finish, and polish floors. Adheres to Goodwill and departmental policies and procedures. Other duties as requested.

Specific Requirements: Ability to follow written and/or oral instructions. Preference for performing routine and repetitive duties.

Physical Requirements:Physical stamina is needed to work in a dynamic, fast-paced environment. Walking, standing for prolonged periods of time, stooping, reaching and pulling, pushing, bending, stretching, twisting, or reaching with your body, arms, and legs; throughout the working day.

Legal Requirements:Documentation to satisfy I-9, background check, physical assessment, and drug screen.
