Job summary

Goodwill North Central Texas is seeking a facilities associate to clean restrooms, floors, windows and common areas at 4005 Campus Drive, Fort Worth, Texas.

This full-time position requires following written or oral instructions, physical stamina for a fast-paced environment, and compliance with safety and background checks; benefits include PTO, company-paid life insurance, voluntary dental and vision, STD, LTD, and a 401(k).

Qualifications

• Ability to follow written and/or oral instructions.
• Preference for performing routine and repetitive duties.

Responsibilities

• Service, clean, or supply restrooms; clean building floors by sweeping, mopping, scrubbing, or vacuuming; gather and empty trash.
• Follow procedures for the use of chemical cleaners and power equipment to prevent damage to floors and fixtures.
• Mix water and detergents or acids in containers to prepare cleaning solutions, according to specifications.
• Clean windows, glass partitions, or mirrors, using soapy water or other cleaners, sponges, or squeegees.
• Notify managers concerning the need for major repairs or additions to building operating systems.
• Requisition supplies or equipment needed for cleaning and maintenance duties.
• Dust furniture, walls, machines, or equipment; strip, seal, finish, and polish floors.
• Adheres to Goodwill and departmental policies and procedures.
• Other duties as requested.

Salary: $14.82 per hour

Work Hours:FT (40 Hrs. per Week) Typical start time of 7:30 a.m., Monday through Friday with occasional weekends.

Physical Requirements:Physical stamina is needed to work in a dynamic, fast-paced environment. Walking, standing for prolonged periods of time, stooping, reaching and pulling, pushing, bending, stretching, twisting, or reaching with your body, arms, and legs; throughout the working day.
