Job summary

Goodwill North Central Texas is seeking a dedicated maintenance associate to clean and maintain facilities at 4005 Campus Drive, Fort Worth. Responsibilities include cleaning restrooms, floors, windows, and common areas, restocking supplies, and reporting major repairs as needed.

The role requires adherence to safety procedures and the ability to follow written and oral instructions. The position is full-time, offering a benefits package including paid time off, health and retirement options,

Locations:Goodwill North Central Texas --- 4005 Campus Drive, Fort Worth, Texas

Salary: $14.82 per hour

Work Hours:FT (40 Hrs. per Week) Typical start time of 7:30 a.m., Monday through Friday with occasional weekends.

General Job Duties:Service, clean, or supply restrooms; clean building floors by sweeping, mopping, scrubbing, or vacuuming; gather and empty trash; follow procedures for the use of chemical cleaners and power equipment to prevent damage to floors and fixtures; mix water and detergents or acids in containers to prepare cleaning solutions, according to specifications; clean windows, glass partitions, or mirrors, using soapy water or other cleaners, sponges, or squeegees; notify managers concerning the need for major repairs or additions to building operating systems; requisition supplies or equipment needed for cleaning and maintenance duties; dust furniture, walls, machines, or equipment; strip, seal, finish, and polish floors. Adheres to Goodwill and departmental policies and procedures. Other duties as requested.

Specific Requirements: Ability to follow written and/or oral instructions. Preference for performing routine and repetitive duties.

Physical Requirements:Physical stamina is needed to work in a dynamic, fast-paced environment. Walking, standing for prolonged periods of time, stooping, reaching and pulling, pushing, bending, stretching, twisting, or reaching with your body, arms, and legs; throughout the working day.

Legal Requirements:Documentation to satisfy I-9, background check, physical assessment, and drug screen.
