Job summary

Facility Management Corporation, known as FMC Ice Sports, is seeking friendly staff for Facility Support roles at our public ice arenas. You may perform skate monitor, cashier or timekeeper duties, with training provided if you have no prior rink experience.

Applicants should be at least 16 years old and demonstrate strong customer service, teamwork, dependability and organizational skills. Compensation is $15 per hour, non-negotiable.

Responsibilities

• Skate Monitor duties to assist guests and ensure safety.
• Operate a cash register and process payments as needed.

Facility Management Corporation, known as “FMC Ice Sports” was formed in 1992 to deliver high quality ice sport facility management and operations, as well as ice-based programs that benefit our communities and promote interest in both hockey and skating. We have established a record of quality operations and have grown to be the largest operator of public arenas in the United States. FMC operates 25 public ice-skating arenas across the state of Massachusetts in long-term partnership agreements with the Commonwealth and various municipalities as well as educational institutions.

Facility Support Staff is responsible for a variety of tasks and functions in the arena to ensure an exceptional customer experience. Responsibilities could include:

• Skate Monitor
• Cashier
• Timekeeper

No prior experience in an ice rink or ice sports required. We will train.
