Job summary

Bennington-Rutland Supervisory Union Equinox Valley Middle School is seeking a full-time Facility Support Specialist to maintain the school facilities and grounds for safe, clean, and efficient operation. The role covers custodial work, cleaning, and routine maintenance in accordance with district and OSHA standards.

The position follows a 12:00pm–8:00pm schedule when students are in session and 7:00am–3:00pm when the building is empty, with pay in the $18.50–$20.50 per hour range based on

Responsibilities

• Maintain the school facilities and grounds in operating condition.

Job Description

Taconic Elementary School and Equinox Valley Middle School are seeking a full-time, year-round Facility Support Specialist to maintain the the physical school and grounds in a condition of operating excellence, cleanliness, and safety. The Custodian performs daily cleaning, disinfection, and maintenance routines at assigned school building. The Facility Support Specialist operates within district and school policies and procedures, and by applying acceptable custodial standards, Labor and Industry standards, and OSHA standards when caring for the school’s grounds, building, and its related equipment and systems.

The Facility Support Specialist's schedule is 12:00pm to 8:00pm when school is in session and 7:00am to 3:00pm when there are no students in the building.
