Job summary

Arizona Public Service Company seeks a Facility Siting Supervisor to lead a team that identifies locations and routes for transmission and generation facilities, coordinating with engineering, legal, environmental and construction groups.

The role requires a four-year degree with five years in siting or related fields (or nine years without a degree) and strong leadership, communication and regulatory engagement skills. APS offers a hybrid work model and a path to career growth.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Business, Construction Management, Engineering or related field plus 5 years siting/PM experience.
• In lieu of a Bachelor's, 9 years of siting/PM experience may be considered.

Responsibilities

• Supervise employees with selection, work assignment, coaching and performance management.
• Prioritize siting work across multiple projects and manage schedules and resources.
• Coordinate with engineering, legal, environmental and construction teams on siting requirements.
• Identify risks in site selection, permitting delays, regulatory issues and stakeholder opposition; develop mitigations.
• Maintain siting practices, documentation and quality standards; oversee public engagement processes.
• Monitor compliance with siting, environmental, permitting and regulatory requirements; review filings and testimonies.
• Manage department expenditures and resources against budgets.
