Job summary

LindenGrove Waukesha is seeking a Facility Services Technician to join the maintenance department. The role involves repairing and maintaining equipment, buildings, and furnishings, with an 8:00am-4:30pm schedule (adjustments possible). Occasional weekends and on-call weeks every three weeks are required.

Pay ranges from $23.00 to $26.00 per hour, depending on experience. The technician will handle electrical, plumbing, painting, carpentry, and masonry tasks, install appliances, manage on-call

Qualifications

• Must have a high school diploma or equivalent.
• 2–3 years of related maintenance experience preferred.
• Ability to perform electrical, plumbing, painting, carpentry and masonry tasks.

Responsibilities

• Maintains and promotes effective communication with all individuals.
• Maintains a positive image of LindenGrove Waukesha in the community.
• On-call for assigned weeks and responds to emergencies.
• Performs minor electrical maintenance (fixtures, outlets, bulbs, fuses).
• Performs minor plumbing maintenance (leaks, faucets, drains).
• Performs minor painting, carpentry and masonry work.
• Installs, repairs, and replaces appliances as needed.
• Prioritizes work orders and completes them timely.
• Responds to facility or environmental emergencies including power outages and water events.
