Saginaw Township Community Schools in Michigan is seeking a Custodian - Second Shift to maintain the building and support grounds keeping. Under the direct supervision of the Facilities Director, this position performs a wide variety of maintenance work. Performs additional work as required and provides assistance to other maintenance employees as assigned by immediate supervisor. There are no supervisory duties.
The standard shift is Monday - Friday, 8-hours per day from 3:00 p.m. to 11:30 p.m. with a 30-minute unpaid lunch.
According to the Collective Bargaining Agreement with Local 517M, Service Employees International Union, AFL-CIO and the school district, wages pursuant to the contract; Current hourly wage range $15.81 – $17.34, based on experience; medical, dental and vision benefits available (Employees new to the district pay 10.0% of cost). Position covered by state school employee retirement plan.
